The Africa-China Centre for Policy & Advisory (ACCPA) exclusively invites you to participate in this webinar on the Digital Silk Road.

In 2015, the Digital Silk Road (DSR) was introduced as the technological dimension of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), with the aim of improving digital connectivity and promoting digital economic growth in BRI countries.

Despite gaining increasing attention over the last few years, the DSR remains poorly understood, and new opportunities for deeper collaboration are often overlooked.

Although China’s digital influence in African countries began long before the concept was officially adopted, the DSR constitutes an unprecedented opportunity to further promote the Africa-China win-win relationship.

In this dialogue, we will explore potential areas for cooperation between Africa and China in line with DSR, which is endless, spanning from the private to the public sector. Ultimately, it represents the right of African countries to adapt to and benefit from the digital revolution.
