Yiling Lyu is a development and project management professional with extensive field experience in Africa and Asia, particularly in infrastructure coordination and cross-cultural communication. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in African Studies at the University of Copenhagen, with a research focus on international cooperation and development in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to her graduate studies, Yiling held key managerial roles across South Sudan, Zambia, Pakistan, and China. From 2020 to 2024, she served as property management manager in Juba, South Sudan, overseeing major operations and organizing national-level events, including highway inauguration ceremonies attended by state leaders. Her work under the China Belt and Road Initiative has involved high-stakes coordination with governments, embassies, and multinational stakeholders.
Yiling’s academic and professional trajectory reflects a strong commitment to understanding and facilitating global partnerships. Her cross-sector experience equips her with a unique perspective on development practice and policy implementation in emerging economies.
