The Africa-China Centre for Policy & Advisory (ACCPA) has announced the appointment of Dr. Fouad Larhzizer as a Senior Research Fellow (Morocco).

The Africa-China Centre for Policy and Advisory is a Sino-African research and policy think tank and advisory firm. Its goal is to provide unbiased policy and market research as well as distinct points of view on Africa-China relations.

The Centre also offers strategic guidance on key issues regarding China and Africa, covering multiple sectors and industries.

Dr. Fouad Larhzizer is a Professor in Dialogue of Civilizations and Comparative Religion and a researcher in Morocco-China relations at the Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Human Sciences, Hassan First University Settat, Morocco.

Dr. Larhzizer holds a Ph.D. in Dialogue of Civilizations and Comparative Religion (2019) and a Master’s degree in Semitic Studies and Comparative Religions (2013).

He was the President of the University Center for Sino-Moroccan Studies (2012–2016) as well as the President of the Readers’ Club of the “China in the Present” Magazine in Morocco (Arabic edition).

Dr. Larhzizer participated in the Sino-Arab Forum that the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted in 2023. He has been the representative of the magazine “Chinese-Aujourduit” Arab Edition since 2009. Commenting on his appointment, Dr. Larhzizer stated his commitment to expanding the work of ACCPA in the North African region.

“The ACCPA is already doing amazing work in the Sino-Africa space. I look forward to working with the team to do more in the North African region”.

He has contributed to multiple scientific publications and books, including “You and Me: Stories Between China and Morocco”, published with support from the Chinese Embassy in Morocco in April 2019.
