The Africa-China Centre for Policy & Advisory (ACCPA), in partnership with the Economic Society of Tanzania (EST), prepares to host a one-day, fully funded workshop for select journalists in Tanzania.

This is part of the ACCPA’s capacity-building program dubbed “Media Professionals Workshop on China-Tanzania Relations.”

This free one-day training is aimed at introducing select journalists in Tanzania (from TV, radio, newspapers, online blogs, etc.) to key insights regarding tracking, researching, reporting, and analyzing China’s relations with Tanzania in particular and Africa in general.

The training will be facilitated by Paul Frimpong, the Founder & Executive Director of the ACCPA, and Dr. Rosemary Mnongya, a Lecturer at Ardhi University of Tanzania and a Senior Research Fellow of the ACCPA

The journalists will be taken through topics such as trade, investment, and how to position Tanzania for win-win cooperation with China.

The training is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
